Ambient Compilation – Open to submissions now!
Posted by PegasiaMusic in Announcements on 14/03/2012
Hello, everyone!
It is time to reveal our latest announcement; a new compilation of ambient music!
This compilation will be open to anyone wishing to submit, as long as it adheres to the ‘ambient’ genre.
For those who wish to submit, please be aware of the following information:
* The song must be submitted in .wav or .aiff format in 24bit and 44.1khz.
* The song must have at least -3db headroom.
* While there is no official maximum length, please keep submissions under 15 minutes if possible.
* One submission per person, please.
* All songs chosen will be mastered by us at PegasiaMusic to a professional standard.
* Some songs within the album may be arranged in the mastering to bridge into the songs following them, creating a gapless segue.
* Not all submissions will be accepted. Please do not be offended if yours is not. If we happen to receive a lot of submissions, please understand that we will not be able to accept all of them sheerly due to the overall album length.
* Like with all of our releases, this album will be released for free download only and all artists keep their rights to their work. For all information about our policies and legal declarations, please see our About page.
Please send your submissions to info@pegasiamusic.com with the subject title ‘Ambient Compilation Submission‘.
DEADLINE: Tuesday 1st May 2012
Those who have been accepted will be informed of such before the album’s release date is published, but please be patient.
Thank you for reading, good luck and we look forward to hearing your submissions!

A word of thanks

Hello, everyone.
It’s been a very active first year for PegasiaMusic and we just wanted to express how grateful we are for all of the support you guys have given us since its birth in January. The sole idea behind PegasiaMusic was to spread the names of fantastic musicians who don’t have a huge deal of attention. We like to think that we have been successful so far, having shared some incredible music that, as fans, we love listening to ourselves.
So thank you, to both artists and listeners, for your growing support throughout our first year. May there be many more successful years to come!
Happy holidays. See you next year. ![]()

Multi-Genre Compilation – Final Announcement And Further Information
Posted by PegasiaMusic in Announcements on 21/02/2011
Hey, everyone. We have one week left to accept submissions. After that we go into the assessment stages before going into the mastering process.
Just posting this quickly to touch up on a few things I didn’t properly mention before (have now edited it into the original post).
We will need an unmastered 24bit wav file with at least -3dB headroom.
The accepted tracks will be mastered professionally by Ben Walthew. Consistency is required through an album, for dynamics, levels etc, something that is to be determined through the mastering, which is why we need these tracks unmastered so we can master them all to compliment each other on the release.
Email your submissions to pegasiamusic@gmail.com either with a download link or attached, whichever is easiest.
Thanks all,
-Ben

First Multi-Genre Compilation Information
Posted by PegasiaMusic in Announcements on 30/01/2011
Hi! We are planning to release our first compilation for later in the year. If you are interested in submitting a song for it, we have provided some information for you to make it easier.
The deadline is 1st March 2011. This is going to be a collection of different genres to showcase underground music. Track lengths don’t really matter as this will be a digital release.
One track per submitter please.
Please send a wav or aiff file. We do not mind if it is mastered or unmastered (providing it is to a particular standard if it is), however if you are unable to have your track mastered, we will offer our services for you, providing you are accepted onto the compilation.
Please send an unmastered 24bit wav file. If you are accepted onto the compilation, the tracks will be mastered as being a part of a collection of work as one, and consistency is required if that is the case, something that is to be determined through the mastering,
We are having a LOT of submissions so don’t worry if you don’t manage to get on this time, there’s always next. We plan to release many more compilations similar to this in the future.
The people who manage to get onto the compilation will not be informed that they are on it until the compilation is released. That makes the anticipation more fun!
Please email your submissions with the title ‘Compilation Submission’ to pegasiamusic@gmail.com
Thank you very much for reading and good luck!
